I always prayed for those who are unfortunate in the world and that God shine His light on those suffering through various hardships. For those souls who were selected to carry over to the other side, I prayed God forgive all their sins and embrace them with His loving arms.

Sadly, I have to pray for the deceased soul of my mother. I will pray my Novenas to her and I will continue praying for those downtrodden and for those who will cross over, like she prayed for the deceased souls of everyone as well.

Praying very specially for the soul of your deceased mother, OU812. Thank you for your beautiful attitude towards the less fortunate …

Thank you, too, for your prayers, grateful_child, Teresa, JanefromEngland for your prayers for the dying. We can be sure that these souls appreciate the help they get from our prayers during this ‘make or break’ moment of their lives, which determines the kind of eternity they will have. God bless us all!

Almighty Father,
grant that everyone dying today, especially relatives, friends and acquaintances, may be covered with your grace and mercy. Through your grace, may they pass their final test at this decisive moment of their life, and safely cross over to eternity as your friends:

You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls,
and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world.
O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy,
envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.

Mary, Our Mother, Refuge of sinners, plead for the dying.

St. Joseph, pray for us. Obtain for everyone dying today the grace of final perseverance.

St. Michael, the Archangel. Protect everyone dying today.

St. Faustina, intercede for the dying.

Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, may you prepare everyone dying today to meet Our Lord as a Friend, just as you did when you lived on earth. Amen.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless, and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments, we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen.

Jesus, I trust in You!

Go forth upon your journey from this world,
In the Name of God the Father who created you;
In the Name of Jesus Christ who died for you;
IN the Name of the Holy Spirit who shines through you;
In friendship with God’s saints;
Aided by the holy angels.
May you rest this day in the peace and love of your eternal home.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. Our Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Dear Lord, grant us the grace to work out our salvation in fear and trembling, fearing only to displease You, fearing only Your omnipotence. Deliver us, Lord, from the world, the flesh and the devil, and shape us in Your will alone. May Christ find love alive when He returns, and may this be through our actions in righteousness here on Earth and even in Heaven, as St. Therese of the Child Jesus & the Holy Face. Come for us, Lord, when we pass over, and bring us safely home. AMEN

Go forth upon your journey from this world,
In the Name of God the Father who created you;
In the Name of Jesus Christ who died for you;
In the Name of the Holy Spirit who shines through you;
In friendship with God’s saints;
Aided by the holy angels.
May you rest this day in the peace and love of your eternal home.

Amen.

To thee I have recourse, St. Joseph, Patron of the dying; and to thee, at whose blessed death watchfully assisted Jesus and Mary, by both these dearest pledges I earnestly recommend the soul of this servant (handmaid) in the sufferings of his (her) last agony, that he (she) may by your protection be delivered from the snares of the devil and from eternal death, and may merit to attain everlasting joy. Through the same Christ our Lord.

Amen.

ur Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

*Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.*

Mary, Our Mother, Refuge of sinners, plead for the dying.

Prayer for Mercy for the Dying

O Merciful Jesus, Lover of Souls, I beseech You, by the agony of Your Most Sacred Heart and by the sorrows of Your Immaculate Mother, wash clean in Your Blood the sinners of the whole world who are now in their final agony but especially those on their way to eternal damnation and who are to die this day.

Heart of Jesus, who suffered death’s agony, I beg You have mercy on these poor souls.

Amen.
