Merciful Lord, deign to accept our prayers, and allow them to accompany everyone dying today throughout the world, not only at the decisive moment of their death, but also for the next 40 days thereafter. Thank you, Lord, for your Love and Mercy. Amen.

Eternal rest grant unto the poor souls, O Lord,
And let perpetual light shine upon them.

O Blessed Saint Joseph!

I consecrate myself to thy honor, and give myself to thee, that thou mayest be always my father, my protector, and my guide to the way of salvation.

Obtain for me a great purity of heart and a fervent love of the interior life.

After thy example, may I perform all my actions for the greater glory of God, in union with the Divine Heart of Jesus, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary!

And do thou, O Blessed Joseph, pray for me, that I may experience the peace and joy of thy holy death. Amen.

I salute thee, holy Angel who didst comfort my Jesus in His agony, and with thee I praise the most holy Trinity for having chosen thee from among all the holy Angels to comfort and strengthen Him who is the comfort and strength of all that are in affliction. By the honoUr thou didst enjoy and by the obedience, humility and love wherewith thou didst assist the sacred Humanity of Jesus, my Saviour, when He was fainting for very sorrow at seeing the sins of the world and especially my sins, I beseech thee to obtain for me perfect sorrow for my sins; deign to strengthen me In the afflictions that now overwhelm me, and in all the other trials, to which I shall be exposed henceforth and, in particular, when I find myself in my final agony.

grant that everyone dying today, especially relatives, friends, and CAF members and guests, may be covered with your grace and mercy. Through your grace, may they pass their final test at this decisive moment of their life, and safely cross over to eternity as your friends.

*Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

Everyday, we hear of people dying suddenly from accidents, calamities, violence, etc. I cannot help wonder how many of them are prepared to meet the Lord as they enter eternity.

Will their eternity be one of happiness which the Lord Jesus gained for them so painfully? Or, will it be otherwise? Are some people praying for them at this very decisive moment of their spiritual battle?

Inviting everyone, then, to join in prayer for those dying today throughout the world (especially our relatives, friends and acquaintances) that they may be protected by God’s grace and mercy, as they cross decisively from this life to the next. Thank you and God bless.
