Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.

Praying for the healing of Luke~

Be blessed, O most pure Virgin, for having vouchsafed to manifest your shining with life, sweetness and beauty, in the Grotto of Lourdes, saying to the child, Saint Bernadette: *“I am the Immaculate Conception.” *A thousand times we congratulate you upon your Immaculate Conception. And now, O ever Immaculate Virgin, Mother of mercy, Health of the sick, Refuge of sinners, Comforter of the afflicted, you know our wants, our troubles, our sufferings. Deign to cast upon us a look of mercy.

By appearing in the Grotto of Lourdes, you were pleased to make it a privileged sanctuary, whence you dispense your favors, and already many have obtained the cure of their infirmities, both spiritual and physical. We come, therefore, with the most unbounded confidence to implore your maternal intercession. Obtain for us, O loving Mother, the granting of our request~ for the healing of Luke, a young boy, just 12 years of age, who has suffered a massive stroke.

Through gratitude for your favors, we will endeavor to imitate your virtues, that we may one day share your glory.

Our Lady of Lourdes, Mother of Christ, you had influence with your divine son while upon earth. You have the same influence now in Heaven. Pray for us; obtain for us from your Divine Son our special requests if it be the Divine Will.

Thank you all for your prayers for Luke. He has improved tremendously. A week ago the doctors thought he may not make it through the night due to swelling near the brain stem caused from the stroke. Then they said he would have no function since the stroke damaged about half of his brain. Each day he made progress and by Wed he could comprehend and obey simple commands. He began to speak in connected short words and started therapy. He also is able to eat and drink. His speech is difficult and he will need to relearn many things and his right side will need months of therapy, but he is alive and there is hope.

Thank you Lord for the miracle, and thank you all for your prayers.

Jesus, please assist in recovery and cure of the problems that caused Luke’s stroke, he is so young. Blessed Mother please intercede on behalf of Luke’s family and give them the graces needed to deal with Luke’s problems. For this I pray
