Prayer request for marriage difficulties

Please pray for my husband & I as we struggle to survive his infidelity that is still on-going. I ask for prayers as I try to get him to return to church with the family. Also, that he can find the strength to let her go.

and understanding love for each other.

UPDATE
thank you again for your prayers. we just returned from Retrouvaille. I am hopeful and exhausted. We plan to dialogue and attend post.

Hey there Michnica. I will remember you in my Rosary intentions here in a moment.
 
Thank you again. We are dialogueing most days. He has taken several steps but I keep pushing us back. I am having trouble forgiving him. I know in my heart this is not helping the healing process yet I am afraid. I want to give it to the Lord, so why am I holding back.

He still talks to “her” as she is dealing with a horrible cancer. I pray for her health and heart daily. But I struggle with wanting her out of our lives completely (not out of life itself-I want her to beat this). I blame this for my not being able to forgive, but I don’t know if I am wrong for that.

Does anyone have recommendations on how I can take that leap to forgiveness. I don’t want for the past to hurt me anymore.
