Prayer request for my gay friend

Alright so, I have a gay friend who I am very concerned about. His heart is hardened and he does not believe in hell…he is in a great deal of sin. He is young and has very liberal ideas about the world and religion, once even saying he wished religion didn’t exist! I soon hope to become a nun and hope that I can still be friends with him. However, I cannot continue this friendship if he continues to act this way. He really needs some prayers! Any thoughts toward his salvation would be very much appreciated!
 
Praying your friend can work through his bitterness and see the truth.
 
Congrats on your vocational aspirations! I would the lines of communications open with your friend who is in great need for any good role models. You may be the only spiritual lifeline he has now. All who are in religious orders are called upon to pray for and reach out to sinners.

Many of us, and I include myself, need as many role models as we can get, to pull us back from the abyss, time and time again. I will pray for your friend and for your vocation.

Great reasoning. Please reconsider breaking your friendship simply because he has ssa. Do you expect to have no friends who do not believe precisely what you believe?

Praying a Chaplet of the Little Crown for his liberation and salvation. May Our Lady free him from a miserable of wallowing in wounded-ness and meaningless pleasure and lead him to a joyful life of freedom, peace and chastity, and raise him up to be a Saint more holy than ourselves.
 
I pray that God soften his heart and i pray God protect your spirit and your friends spirit from evil influences. May God grant wisdom and guidance in our lives. In Jesus name. Amen.

It is not because of his ssa, but because he is a very influential person and I am easily persuaded. :o I feel it is better to surround one’s self with like minded individuals who have the same beliefs. I understand this Corinthians quote to be applied to my life,

“Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?”

I have just recently, after 3 years of consideration, decided that this is the right vocation for me and is what I am meant to do. However, I had thoughts of diving into the Hollywood scene previously solely because of the people who I was around. I still have two more years of college before I will start looking for convents. He is my best friend and I’m want him to see the truth.

You’re a far better person then I’ll ever be. Good luck and i will pray that your friend sees what’s right and partially changes his attitude
 
I pray that this friend will see the love of God in his friend, and be drawn to the love of Christ through our Lady. And please strengthen and keep her strong in her faith.
