O Good St. Anne
you who cured the sick
and laid a healing hand upon the lame,
the blind, and the crippled,
look with compassion upon scipio’s mother in her trouble.
If it is not God’s Will to cure her,
give her strength to bear her burden
and offer it up to Him,
who suffered so much for us.
Give scipio’ mother grace to offer her sufferings
in union with Jesus’,
in reparation for her sins and those of others,
for the needs of this troubled world,
and for the release of the souls in purgatory.

scipio: I am so sorry that this bad news has come to your family. My own mother suffered with lung cancer as well. I am praying to St. Peregrine - and I pray that the Holy Spirit stay with you all during this trial.
