Good day my brothers and sisters in Christ. I would like to request for a prayer for my wife and unborn child. My wife is on her 10th week of pregnancy and recently she had a urinary tract infection. Doctor gave her medicines and upon checking up again yesterday, her cervix is opened already; 2cm 😦 Need your prayers badly. She’s currently in bed rest. Thank you and God bless!

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.

Amen

I pray for you, your wife and your baby.

My wife at a similar stage of pregnancy started bleeding and was put on bed-rest, causing all kinds of difficulties with her work for weeks. At the most extreme point, we spent three nights in hospital, with no idea about what would happen.

I must say the experience brought my wife, I and our baby even closer together, and our boy was born at the end of last August, a big boy as well at more than 9 lbs 🙂

We both experienced tears, and it was tough, but there was a prevailing peace and a feeling of letting God decide (and this is before we started attending Church!)

God bless you and your family.

St. Gianna, I ask for your intercession for this mother and her unborn child. Please ask God to bless them and keep the infant safe. May she carry her pregnancy to term and have a healthy infant.

Lord God, I lift up to you this father… Grant him strength, a steadfast faith in you, and peace… May he be a wonderful source of support for his wife as she journeys through pregnancy.

**A prayer for your wife.

Heavenly Father, Creator of all things, you have been pleased to enable my husband and me to collaborate with you in conceiving a child. Thank you for your gracious gift. Help me to guard this new life carefully and do nothing to hurt it in any way.

After my child’s birth, let me lavish him/her with love and bring him/her up in your love and service, so that he/she will become a child of yours and inherit your kingdom.

Be with me, O Lord, in this greatest of tasks to comfort, strengthen, calm and enlighten me. Amen**

O great Saint Gerard, beloved servant of Jesus Christ, perfect imitator of your meek and humble Savior, and devoted child of Mother of God, enkindle within my heart one spark of that heavenly fire of charity which glowed in your heart and made you an angel of love. O glorious Saint Gerard, because when falsely accused of crime, you did bear, like your Divine Master, without murmur or complaint, the calumnies of wicked men, you have been raised up by God as the patron and protector of expectant mothers. Preserve her from danger and from the excessive pains accompanying childbirth, and shield the child which she now carries, that it may see the light of day and receive the purifying and life-giving waters of baptism through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

**Hail Mary full of grace

Blessed art thou amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus
Holy Mary Mother of God
Pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our death

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Blessed are you, God of all creation;
You have given us Your Son as our example,
And have made us temples of Your
Holy Spirit.
Fill this Mom to be and her family with Your light and peace.
Give them the grace to meet life’s challlenges.
Have mercy on this Mom to be and all who are in need,
And bring them to everlasting joy with You.
Amen.
