Prayer request for my son

Hello, I just wanted to give an update.

My son is home! He came home a few days before Christmas.

He is doing very well. No more feeding tube, he is eating on his own. He can walk with no assistance.

He still will require therapy for a period of time, he still get’s fatigued very easily. But we are so happy.

Thank you all to have prayed for my son and family.

Just bumping the thread to ask for continued prayers.

My son is improving and doing well. He is suffering from a high level of anxiety which could be physically related to his brain injury.

We as a family are all a bit nerve wracked, it’s very hard to believe this happened.

Thank you again for the prayers.

I am glad he is improving and well in general, but am sorry to hear he is suffering from anxiety. I know this is tough on you to see him feeling like this, and it is tough on him to have to deal with everything. You are all in my prayers!
 
I just wanted to bump the thread for an update and to thank those who have kept my son in their prayers.

He is doing very well.

Next week he starts high school. He will be getting continued therapeutic services through our district. He’ll be in a public school (first time) but we live in a small town, and the HS is somewhat small. He does have a few friends that he played baseball with and some other boys had gone to grammar school with him.

Please keep him in your prayers. And me as well. I can’t believe this young man just 5 minutes ago was a sweet little baby, and now he’s taller than me, and at times I have a hard time distinguishing his voice from my husband’s.

He’s had a hard year, but he’s so very brave.
 
Absolutely! Prayers to your whole family & especially DS, who is the same age as mine.
 
They grow too fast don’t they! 😦

He is still in my prayers! I am glad to hear he is doing well. I will definitely pray that this new adjustment to a new phase in life goes well (for him and Mama!)

You and your family are strong and you will get through this. I am praying for you all. God bless you and continue to give us updates. Miracles happen every day and your son is one of them. Thank you Jesus. God bless and may he be completely healed and your anxieties put to rest. Amen.

Monday he’ll be getting some further testing. Please pray that it goes well. It’s precautionary and his last angiogram went very well. He’s a bit worried about the actual test.

The test (an MRI) went very well, everything looked great!

Thank you all for your prayers for my son. It has been a very hard ordeal, but we are blessed to have him here.

I got to sit in the room while they performed the MRI. They gave me earplugs, but I think I did not put them in correctly. :o My ears are still ringing.:p.
