Hey,

It’s been years since I’ve posted a prayer request, but I really think we need prayers now. I’ll try to break down the situation as best as I can. My husband and I were married a couple months ago, but at the moment we unfortunately are living apart. He is in England working and I am in the States working. He’s an British citizen and we’re in the beginning stages of getting his visa to become a citizen here. The process is unimaginably complicated.

Anyhow, I am also almost 12 weeks pregnant. Our plans for the future are: I’m going to go to England next month and spend about 2-3 months there with my DH and his family while he works and we save some money. Then he and I are going to fly back to the States and re-settle in a midwestern state far from where I am now, simply because that’s where my family is and we need their support. The things that are complicating everything include financial trouble with my husband’s job ending unexpectedly at the end of January (which we just found out about this past week) as well as some medical issues in our marriage which are going to make all this travelling and re-settling a big challenge. There’s a chance we might have to scrap the whole move to be near my family altogether if we can’t find a doctor who can treat this medical problem nearby. (We won’t have a car so a loooong daily or even weekly commute will not work). I don’t want to get into specifics about the medical situation…it’s not life-threatening (at this point) but it is something that requires daily and consistent specialized care. The fact that we might not be able to find a care provider close enough to us in Kansas might mean that the whole Kansas plan is out— but we need to be near family, too. We’ll need some help in the first few months here, so right now I’m feeling like we’re between a rock and a hard place and there’s no clear solution in sight.

So…things just feel very up in the air and unsure right now. We had a plan all worked out and now it seems like it might fall through due to some of the challenges I mentioned above, and I feel so overwhelmed sometimes it’s hard to breathe. Trying to just thank God for the good things and blessings we have and not focus on the worry, but it’s hard.

That’s why I could use some of your prayers. I know you are a powerful bunch here. 🙂 Please pray that we will be able to find a solution to our problems and that we’ll be able to settle down soon and begin to live a normal life with our baby. Pray for my own peace of mind if you will, and that I will learn again to trust in God. The main problems are financial (my DH’s job specifically) and the medical issue I’ve alluded to. Please, please pray for us.

Dear Lord,

I humbly approach your throne, knowing it is through the blood of Christ I am able to do so. Now I am honored to bring forth your daughter AC Claire to you in prayer.

Oh Lord you know this dear one has ran into obstacles that seem to her so difficult. And yes, these are challenges. We ask God, that you help our dear sister to sort out each challenge and that you give her the calmness, and peace she needs to take the first step to resolve each difficult and discouraging issue. We ask precious Lord that their location issues for this newly married couple be resolved. That also the financial set - back be resolved by an excellent employment opportunity. We also pray for our dear one’s re-location to be with family work out soon. Also Lord our friend’s husband is working on coming to the states, please help that transition be smooth. Lastly, Lord we pray for the medical issues that seem to hinder this new little family. Please Lord so many needs, but we know YOU are all POWERFUL! We ask for your aide dear God for AC. We ask in the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND IN JESUS PRECIOUS NAME, AMEN!

Holy Mother of God, you know the very importance of family, please pray for this little family that are desperatley trying to be united, in a safe enviroment, with much support that is needed of extended family. Amen.

Loving God please help this your couple to find calm and peace in the midst of all the complications. Please guide this young mother to relaxation and to good handling of stress so that she and the baby keep safe and well.

You know all the difficulties involved and to You nothing is impossible, so please help the couple to navigate through these problems. If their plans must change, please give them the peace and hope to accept and to know that all will work towards good.

Mother Mary and Joseph, things didn’t go to plan for you. Joseph you were unable to ensure the kind of conditions you’d have liked for the birth of Mary’s Baby, and after Jesus’ birth away from home and in an animal shelter you and the Mother and Child had to flee to a foreign country until the king intending to murder the infant Jesus had died. Later you all had to relocate to Nazareth, where you once again had to re-establish your business. But it all worked out. Please ask God for courage, hope, wisdom and peace for this young couple as their journey unfolds.

Praying for your peace of mind and that it will all work out for the better …

Hail Mary,
full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Thank you so much for the prayers…

Slowly but surely, little life-jackets are being thrown our way as far as the plans go. It’s still a rough situation but I have some hope. If you would, please continue to pray! I’m eternally grateful.

Oh Lord, I come to your throne by your precious grace.
