Prayer request from a will-be Catholic + Q's about saints

Hello,

I have posted here before. My name is David, I’m 19, and I am going to become Catholic next year. I have a simple prayer request for you all.

Basically, since there’s so many things you could prayer for, for me, I’m going to narrow it down to the problem of evil. I’d like for you to pray for me for the overcoming of evil.

I am dealing with a biological brain disorder that has taken everything away from me internally and externally. I sense something sinister near my soul, like someone whose presence you can sense in a dark room, but can’t see them with your eyes.

So yeah, really because I don’t know what other prayer would be superior, please pray for me as I continue this struggle with evil.

PS: One question about the saints. I’d like to start praying to them. I am aware there is a patron saint for the mentally ill named St. Dymphna, who I will pray to. Anyone else you can think of concerning victims of domestic violence / deep loneliness?

I found this about St Rita of Cascia on the Internet: May be a good saint to read about.,

*St. Rita of Cascia is known as patron of desperate, seemingly impossible causes,abuse victims and difficult marriages.

I will pray that God gives you the necessary strength to cope with this issue and that it resolves soon.
