**Sept. 12, 2012 Update for my dear friends on the forum:

I am doing much better this week, and my husband’s surgery has been postponed to Sept. 27, 2012, just a few weeks away, for his cancer (Sir Spheres) a kind of radiation that involves a bit of surgery. (Selective internal radiation.)

Thank you for keeping us in your prayers. I pray that all here are blessed with good health, so that their kindness can continue to bless others.

God continues to teach me to trust in Him and to “lean not on” my “Own understanding.” Also, my worrying cannot change a hair on my head. Hard things to learn, but "With God all things are possible!

Love and Peace to all here.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Kathryn Ann, how are you and how did your husband’s surgery go?

Dear NeedsMercy, I thank you and all here for your continual prayers. My husband had his surgery this past Thursday, was overnight at the hospital and home on Friday. He is doing well, considering all he has gone through. There were several complications during the surgery and his procedure was delayed an additional three hours, meaning that he came in, was in bed with an IV from ten thirty A.M. until three P.M., just waiting to go into surgery, which is not good for someone at his age to begin any operation. But thank you, we are both all right and I’m feeling much better. We appreciate your prayers and all those here. After a little scare in the E.R. myself a week ago Saturday (just days before his surgery) I am recovering.
I am very grateful for your prayers.
