Can we please join together and pray that the upcoming Supreme Court decision isn’t motivated by bigotry, and solely motivated to protect religious freedom.
It’s a sticky situation since these religious agencies receive public taxpayer money but they are being forced to work against their religious sensibilities, or risk losing funding.
Summary of the situation italicized below:
On November 4, the Supreme Court will hear a case that could allow private agencies that receive taxpayer-funding to provide government services — such as foster care providers, food banks, homeless shelters, and more — to deny services to people who are LGBTQ, Jewish, Muslim, or Mormon.
