Prayer request...

I don’t really feel right about this - both because I’m not Roman-Catholic, and because I see a lot of MUCH more serious cases in this part of the forums.
But I’m gonna go ahead anyway - trusting that an admin will remove it if it is deemed inappropriate.

Last Sunday when I got home from a weekend-visit to my family, I ran for the bus, tripped, and smashed my knee into some cobblestones. It required 3 or 4 stitches. The worst part is that although it has gotten better, I have missed A LOT of classes, and am going to miss a lot more, depending on how long it takes for me to recover enough to go. And my studies have been impaired seriously.

So if anyone of you would please pray for me, I would very much appreciate it

Lord, I pray for LutheranDK. Please help LutheranDK catch up with all the work that he/she has missed as a result of his/her knee injury. If LutheranDK can afford a tutor or get one of classmated to help out, I pray that he/she can get some extra help. Please heal LutheranDK’s knee soon so LutheranDK can get back to school and do well enough to get a good grade. Come Holy Spirit, come by means of the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, your well-beloved spouse and work a miracle in this difficult situation. Help LutheranDK understand his/her lessons with greater clarity and grant him/her a better memory than ever. Draw LutheranDK to a greater love of your Son and help LutheranDK be even more dependant on Him for everything. May LutheranDK place all his confidence in your merciful love and be perfectly surrendered to your merciful love. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.

Please, if possible, help LDK to find some way to catch up with classes and necessary study.

LDK you are most welcome! No one would dream of removing your request just because you’re not Catholic. And your request is serious, and does matter to us.
Your knee injury sounds very painful. I’ll continue pray for you and this important matter of your study and your well-being.

Look after yourself, and I hope someone can help you with notes, and that your instructors will be understanding regarding your injury and its effect on your class attendance.
