Hello.

I am simply asking for some prayer from my brothers and sisters. I am currently struggling with what I assume to be OCD. Here recently, and I mean very recently, I began having these habits of washing my hands all the time. Now, it has turned into using hand sanitizer every time I touch something for fear getting germs on it and making someone sick. It has turned into changing my clothes just because they touch a cut that is scabbed over thinking they are completely contaminated. It feels like I am losing my mind. I can’t even pet my dog anymore without worrying about being contaminated. I don’t know what to do. I don’t have health insurance so I can’t go to a doctor to speak about it so I have been asking for prayer from various Saints and Mother Mary to help out. any prayer is welcome. Whether you posted here and do it in private does not matter to me. I am just simply asking for a little prayer for peace of mind. a prayer so that I may live a normal life again. Thank you.

**O glorious Apostle, Saint James,
who by reason of thy fervent and generous heart
was chosen by Jesus to be witness of His glory on Mount Tabor,
and of His agony in Gethsemane;
thou, whose very name is a symbol of warfare and victory:
obtain for us strength and consolation
in the unending warfare of this life,
that, having constantly and generously followed Jesus,
we may be victors in the strife
and deserve to receive the victor’s crown in heaven.

Amen. **

I am so sorry you are struggling so much at this point in time. I will pray for you to have peace of mind. In the meantime, if you haven’t check in with Catholic Charities and see if they can offer any help to you if you haven’t.
Mary.

Praying for you from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Psalm-prayer

Lord, we humbly ask for your goodness. May you help us to hope in you, and give us a share with your chosen ones in the land of the living.

Ant. Know that the Lord is coming and with him all his saints; that day will dawn with a wonderful light, alleluia.

Ant. 3 The Lord will come with mighty power; all mortal eyes shall see him.
Amen

Jesus, I trust in You.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

†

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

†

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal erik_none. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into erik_none’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
