Father grant graces to our youth that are being destroyed by drugs and alcohol. I pray for their spiritual healing. Turn their hearts and eyes towards you Father and redeem them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
 
Praying for the intervention of Ven. Matt Talbot

Gentle Matt, I turn to you in my present needs and ask for the help of your prayers.
Trusting in you, I am confident your charitable and understanding heart will make my petitions your own.
I believe that you are truly powerful in the presence of Divine Mercy. If it be for the glory of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
the honor of Mary, our Mother and Queen and the deepening of my relationship with them, show that your goodness towards me, in my daily struggles, equals your influence with the Holy Spirit, who is hidden and at home in my Heart.
Friend of pity, friend of power, hear, oh hear me in this hour, gentle Matt, please pray for me.

drugs, take away the desire for these
worldly things and REPLACE them the
desire to seek and ask and knock for
heavenly things.

Prayer For Alcoholic Abuse

Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You in deep pain and sadness for those we know who are suffering in one way of another… due to alcohol abuse, both those that have been ensnared in their own excessive alcohol addiction and also those that are badly affected by the alcoholic abuse of someone else – a spouse, a parent. a child or a friend.

We know that You love and care for each and every addict and desire that they break free from their addiction and come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ… Who died and rose again so that the power of sin and bondage to all forms of addiction might become ineffective in the lives that is focused on Him.

We lift up all those that we know who are suffering in any way, due to alcoholic abuse and addiction, especially those that we know personally… and pray that in Your grace and mercy You would do a great work in their lives - enabling those in bondage to break free of their debilitating addiction and those affected by the alcoholism of others to be kept our of harms way – and may all come to a saving faith in Jesus and begin to enjoy a close walk with Him, in Jesus name we pray,
