My friend at work, a lapsed Catholic who hasn’t been to Mass in a long time, is having marital problems. Her husband says he’s filing for divorce today. I just encouraged her to attend Mass with me at noon today and to pray that he won’t file.

Please pray that she will come with me to Mass, and that her husband will not file for divorce.

You could also remind her today is a special day - The Immaculate Conception Of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
