Please pray for me as I return to work from 5 months of medical leave. My situation is complicated somewhat. My job doesn’t pay me nearly enough to meet my expenses and obligations, yet I can’t quit because I am on extremely expensive psychiatric medications and if I quit I will lose my insurance and insurance on a NEW job wouldn’t kick in for six months, so I’d be trying to work without meds, which would be impossible. I need to find a job much closer to home because the super-long commute to and from work is exhausting and killing me. To top it off, I also have severe colitis which makes riding the bus to and from work a very worrisome experience as I am always afraid the colitis will
“kick in” while the bus is on the Interstate in bumper to bumper traffic that is barely moving.
I am also praying God asking for a miracle so that I may begin to attend Catholic Distance University on line, beginning this coming January so that I may get my degrees in Catholic Theology and have a new career serving the Church and the Gospel. I am 47 years old. Thank you, all of you wonderful people, for your kind and generous prayers for me. May God richly bless all of you.

God has raised Mary the mother of Christ above every created thing in heaven and earth. We pray to him:
  • In the name of the Mother of your Son, hear our prayers.
    Compassionate Father, we thank you for giving us Mary as our mother and our example.
    Through her intercession, sanctify our hearts.
    You made Mary your faithful servant obedient to your word.
    Through her intercession, give us the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
    You gave Mary strength as she stood by the Cross; at your Son’s resurrection you filled her with joy.

CHAPLET TO GOD’S MERCY**

Using normal rosary beads,begin with:

The Lord’s Prayer : Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed
be Thy name…… Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee…….
the Apostles Creed :I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven …

On the five large beads :

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood,Soul and
Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son,Our Lord Jesus Christ,
in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the ten small beads :
V. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
R. Have mercy on us and on the whole world.

At the end of the Divine Mercy Chaplet say three times:

Holy God, Holy Mighty One Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy
Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Invocation: O Blood and Water that gushed forth from
the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us,
I trust in You (3 times)

Sign of the Cross :in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
