For my mom, Elaine, and the mother of @Margaret_Ann, Helen, as they are readied for heaven, and thrill with anticipation for what is to come.

Oh gentle heart of Jesus, ever present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive souls in purgatory, have mercy on them.

Be not severe in your judgments, but let some drops of your precious blood fall upon the devouring flames. And, merciful savior, send your angels to conduct them to a place of refreshment, light, and peace.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.
