Prayer requests for the deceased and the Poor Souls in Purgatory!

For the relatives and friends of those on this site who are experiencing purgatory. For any of my loved ones who are in purgatory.

Oh, gentle heart of Jesus, ever-present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive souls in purgatory, have mercy on them.

Be not severe in Your judgments, but let some drops of Your precious blood fall upon the devouring flames.

And, merciful Savior, send Your angels to conduct them to a place of refreshment, light, and peace.

Amen.
 
For the relatives and loved ones of those on this site who are experiencing purgatory. For any loved ones, friends, or acquaintances of mine who are in purgatory. For those in purgatory who do not have anyone to pray for them.

Most merciful Father, we commend our departed one into Your hands, we are filled with the sure hope that our departed will rise again on the Last Day with all who have died in Christ.

We thank You for all the good things You have given during our departed’s earthly life. Oh, Father, in Your great mercy, accept our prayer that the Gates of Paradise may be opened for Your servant.

In our turn, may we, too, be comforted by the words of faith until we greet Christ in the glory and are united with You and our departed.

My Aunt Margaret passed away this morning.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, the souls of Elaine, my mother Helen, the mother of @(name removed by moderator), the father of @UpUpAndAway and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. AMEN.

In Your abode, O Lord, where all Your Saints repose, give rest to the souls of Your servants, for You alone love mankind.
