My friend has come home w/ nursing care since there is still much healing going on…not only was there a staph infection but a strep…:eek:
He is doing well and appreciates all the prayers…
Continued prayers for he and his wife are appreciated…

I almost feel silly asking this - it could seem trivial to some… but I had one of my little dogs slip out of the back yard last night and I cannot get her to come back to me - she is enjoying chasing the birds too much…

I feel silly to ask… but I could use some prayers to get her to come back home.

Dont’ feel silly. I pray for my animals all of the time. I’ll pray for your dog to come home soon.🙂
 
I’m pray for all those who criticize the authority of the pope, may the holy-spirit the giver of life change theirs hearts and give them the knowledge they need to know the truth. Amen

Please Pray for my cousin David, i fear for his soul, he rejects God and the meaning of life that was given to him. No words can get to him, but i trust in Jesus to touch his heart and to fill him with hope and take away his depression. I also pray to the immaculate heart of Mary, have pity on him and pray for his reconciliation with the Father in heaven, do not abandon him, i pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Lord thank you for the gift or our companion animals who bring us joy and give us insight into the wonders of Your creation.
 
My mother’s cousin Beth passed away yesterday. She was only 53, and her husband’s first wife also died of cancer. This is the second 50s family member to die this year in the family.

Please pray for her, for her family, and particularly for her grieving husband.

Update: Please pray that our ex-son-in-law signs the necessary consent papers tomorrow, so that we might adopt our granddaughters. In the past, he has used such as excuses as “I forgot” (to go). We are praying to avoid a big battle, not just for the girls’ sakes, but really for his and our daughter. Also pray for our attorney- he seems to be more concerned about our ex-son-in-law than he does about us and the girls. We are considering getting another lawyer.

I am also going through, reading and praying for all here.

On the positive: It appears we are getting the necessary money to finance this, both through working situations as well as another situation.
 
Dear Lord, Please hear our prayer.

We wish to thank you for all you have given us in our lives and in each other. In our gratitude, we ask:

Please heal and protect all who need your strength,
Please guide and nourish all who need your grace,
Please bring home all who are lost and wander,

OK, this goes to show the wisdom of the owner… that darned pooch got out again. I really do feel a tad silly asking, but I really could use some prayers for her return. She is one of my rescue dogs and they are such a big part of my life - a small joy to me.

I really just want her to return safe and unharmed.
 
Please keep me in your prayers over the next 9 days. MIL is visiting for the first time in 12 years. I have some concerns about the visit, given events that have happened in the past with dh’s family and dh’s apparent feeling that his family is his alone and I am not welcome among them. Already, dh has told me he’ll take the three youngest to the airport (not me) to pick her up.
