My prayers tonight for mean-spirited people and those who are hurt by them.

My prayers also for those who retaliate, perpetuating hurt and alienating indiscriminately everyone whose viewpoints they do not agree with.

I’ll join you in this prayer. A friend of mine has been hurt by just such people this evening.

Father, bringer and unifier of all life we need You.
Heal the people Father from all disagreement and turmoil cast upon them .Ease our souls and touch each and everyone with the power of Your Holy Spirit. Please allow for us to see where the haze is thick so that we may not stumble and fall. Love us Father despite all our imperfections as I know You do. Give us the wisdom to know the differences and the power of Your Holy Spirit to enforce our quiet contentment. Thank You Father for I know it is done. In Jesus Name I Pray.

this sinful world as it is,
Not as i would have it ,
trusting that You will make all things right,
if I surrender to Your will,
so that I may be reasonalby happy in this life,
and supremely happy with You forever in the next.
