Currently I live in Colorado (due to a relocation for my job) and my wife (who is pregnant with our 4th child) is in Missouri taking care of our 3 kids.

I know that this is difficult on her, things seem to happen when I am away, sickness, car trouble, etc. I have one opportunity to move back home, a possible job opportunity, but am still waiting to hear from the company. They are considering me for this job and if they extend an offer and I accept, I will be back home with my family.

Thank you for your prayers! I will include you in mine if you let me know your situation.

We are on the downhill slope of a long battle to adopt our grandchildren. Their father, who has seen them one weekend in six and a half years, will not respond to requests to consent, or to anything else sent by our attorney. Please pray that he either signs the requests or just ignores the whole thing (that would be best). We have asked the intercession of Father Vincent Capodanno, Servant of God for the entire matter, and St. Thomas More for our attorney. Thank you.
 
Thank you everyone here on CAF for your prayers.

I received the GREAT news today that my MRI showed the blood clot on my brain is GONE!!! The shots worked w/o any serious side effects.

The only thing now is dealing with partial damage I have from the stroke 2 yrs. ago but I am working really hard to retrain my brain to get back into the swing of things. I know it will take time but having no clot is a huge relief in itself.

For the repose of soul - of my Aunt Erma who passed away Tuesday. And for her 14 children who were with here when she died…God is good and Aunt Erma was an amazing woman. May she rest in peace. The funeral is today.

You know, I’m wondering if it might keep the forum more organized if there were ongoing threads dedicated to groups of petitions- job search, illness, death, special intentions, conversion, etc.

Just an idea. We are all praying for all the intentions here, of course, but it seems a little sad when someone looks back at their thread and finds only one or two responses.

May the Lord be with them in their loss, give them strength in their sorrow, and may your Aunt be safely at rest in the arms of Our Father.

Please pray for the father of one of the catechists that I work with at our parish. Her father is under hospice care, and it sounds like the end is near for him.

Also, can you please pray for our parish’s students who are making their first communion tomorrow.

I’m afraid that I might lose my job by the end of the week. Even if I don’t lose it at this time, another of my co-workers will. Please, pray for all those being let go by my company, that Jesus may be their comfort and consolation. May He in His mercy bless them with the grace of trusting in His providence.

I was told earlier that my fellow catechit’s father passed away this morning. Please pray for the repose of his soul and that his family will be comforted by the Lord at this time.

Can you please pray for a family in our parish? Yesterday, the father and 4 children were involved in an automobile accident, and the father was killed. Two of the children are still in the hospital, but I don’t think their injuries are very serious.
