Please pray for me to be okay. I had a bad fall last night and am very sore today. I feel fine just achy. Tomorrow I will go to my doctor to get an X-Ray, just to be on the safe side.

Please pray for my father, who suffered a stroke a few days ago, and for my mother, who has limited mobility and was very dependent on him for daily assistance. Over the next days/weeks, we will have to make decisions regarding short- and long-term living arrangements, etc. and will need the Holy Spirit’s guidance. They have eight children, and we are doing everything we can for them, but we are scattered all over the country, so it will be tricky to coordinate. We all love our parents dearly. I am so grateful that they gave life to all of us!

Keep the Holy Family close to your heart. When I think of St. Joseph looking out for mine, I always feel at peace. If you stop to consider the inhospitability of the terrain between Bethelehem & Egypt - barren dessert - and then imagine leading your young wife after child birth and the Infant Jesus through it on a donkey, you begin to realize that St. Joseph is a friend and family man to all families. Ask his prayerful friendship. He will lead you through this dessert with Christ.
