Please pray for me that I am not anxious and that God gives me the peace to wait for my CT of my Lungs on February 24th, 2015. They have found a lung nodule that needs further investigation. I am praying that this is not cancer. I am extremely anxious and find I am focusing on this to much…I pray that I put this in gods hands for a positive outcome. Thank you for your prayers. Greatly appreciated!

Lord, please touch Von55 with your divine, healing hand, and grant this soul all healing, whether physical or spiritual, and all emotional calm. Let Von55 rest in comfort just as you reposed as a babe in the arms of Our Lady. Send angels to minister to and watch over Von55. Grant this soul many graces for faith, hope, love, joy, and temperance, all the way through this journey to the eternal garden of peace. Have mercy, Lord, and cleave the darkness of this world with your warmth and light. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

Prayer to St. Luke:

Most charming and saintly Physician, you were animated by the heavenly Spirit of love. In faithfully detailing the humanity of Jesus, you also showed His divinity and His genuine compassion for all human beings. Inspire our physicians with your professionalism and with the divine compassion for their patients. Enable them to cure the ills of both body and spirit that afflict so many in our day.

Amen.

Prayer for Healing

Lord, look upon Von with eyes of mercy. If it be your will, may his CT scan come back clean. In the meantime, may he give every worry over to the Great Physician, who will guide him through ever phase of this illness. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

†

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Von55. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power intoVon55’s body and give me the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

** Dear Lord, as my loved ones and I await the results of medical tests about my affliction, let us offer you our anxieties for our good and your glory. Calm us in our worries, knowing these don’t add wisdom but rather stress to this situation. Enlighten us, though the power of your Spirit, to make wise decisions as to treatment. Help us not to turn away from You in these fragile, painful moments, but rather towards you for grace and strength. Comfort us in seeking you now as we place all our concerns in your loving hands as we say “Thy Will Be Done.” Amen. **
