I was curious if there are ‘conditions’ for when God hears our own personal prayers. I will share with you my positions, please share with me yours.
Firstly, I believe that that we must be in the state of sanctifying grace otherwise our prayers are only considered when it is the Holy Spirit granting us the ability to pray in order for the conversion of the soul. As it is written, the prayer of a just man availeth much.

Second, I believe that we pray through the four facets in which we are also called to love God: Heart, Mind, Soul & Body. I listed them in that fashion because I believe all real prayers originate from the heart.
Suppose I had a conversion …conversation… with God? I started to pray and I said my words, but stopped myself before I completed my sentence. I considered the fact that we are to love God with all our selves. Thus, I was praying via heart, mind, & soul? maybe? but stopped myself because I didn’t want to start making too many requests for the sake of others which I believe shhh… quiet … influenced a shizophrenic episode… but anyway, I then thought, should God only acknowledge my thoughts as prayers when I am in the position of prayer? … Then He would answer, "fine, I will only acknowledge your prayers when you pray in a “position of prayer”. (which I guess is a prayer as well) And my last prayer while just sitting at my computer reading through forums… or praying ‘always’ by acknowledging whenever I should remember Him in my day… or in whatever I am doing. So, now I should set a time for prayer and a place and a position because I asked God that that be the condition in which he should be listening to what I have to say to Him. … I think i forgot something I was going to add …

But yea, Holy Spirit guide me in all prayers. Amen.

We can pray any time to God.

“When you call me, when you go to pray to me, I will listen to you. When you look for me, you will find me. Yes, when you seek me with all your heart, you will find me with you, says the Lord, and I will change your lot…” (Jeremiah 12-14)
