I have several statues , pictures, first and second class relics, and icons.

Upon glancing over at the former coffeetable passing for a prayer space in a corner of my bedroom I find I have: an ESV bible, a Jerusalem Bible which Father gave me that is most certainly twice my age, a rosary, my rain-and-wine beaten journal that should probably find a new home, a small stack of pamphlets from Father that I should file, a pillow for my knees, and a candle.

There are also a few holy cards, but they were tucked into the jacket of the Jerusalem and I haven’t identified them all yet.

It is on top of a set of three drawers in my room.

Above the prayer surface is a hutch that has my religious books on two bookshelves. To the left on the wall is a painting of the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts with a Holy Water font below.

On the table is a Crucifix
  • Statues: Infant of Prague, Saint Teresa, Our Lady of Grace, and Saint Joseph.
  • Holy Cards on a stand: Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Saints Maria Goretti, Jean-Baptiste de La Salle, Thomas Aquinas, Anthony of Padua, and a card from the funeral of my childhood pastor.
  • A bottle of blessed oil
  • A blessed candle
  • A picture of the Holy Father Benedict XVI
  • 3rd class relics of Fr. Michael McGivney, Saint Jude, and Saint Teresa
  • 2nd class relic from Archbishop Fulton Sheen
