Prayer that I can attend confession

I haven’t gone in many years and I would really appreciate prayers for courage to do it this week and that I find a patient, holy confessor to help me.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

May God bless you during this stressful time for you.
 
Praying that you will have the courage to go to confession this week.
 
Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom in your time of need.
 
May the Lord grant you the drive. May he grant you the courage. May he grant you the sincerity of heart. May he grant you the energy. May he grant you the peace. May he grant you the zeal for holiness.

Just read the time you originally posted. If you didn’t make it then you can make an appointment any time/date works out with any priest, and you can talk to at least one after Mass today. If you can’t do that, I’d spend a week in prayer. I’d make it a daily priority to pray and read relevant scripture.

I feel you. I was in your shoes a few months ago. I think this is why the sacrament has you tell how long it’s been since your last confession. :blessyou:

I pray that you will see this as JUST ANOTHER step
in your walk w/ God. He is NOT done w/ you after
you confess!!!
