Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Lord I pray for all prisoners and their families.I pray You would comfort them when they are in despair and ease their fear and pain.I pray those around them would treat them fairly and compassionately.I pray for the safety of all prisoners.Lord we have all made mistakes and none of us are perfect.May we love our brothers and sisters in prison and care about them and their family members who worry for them.I pray that we would stand up for them within our governments that they would be treated fairly and compasionately. Please bless these people who are in prison and some who may be in despair.Thankyou Lord for Your many blessings Amen

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Prayer for Prisoners
Father of Mercy, the secrets of all hearts are known to You alone. You know who is just and you forgive the unjust. You alone are the Almighty Judge. We are not worthy of judging anyone. Your mercy is enough for sinners. Hear our prayers for those in prison. Give them repentance and let them believe in You. Give them patience and hope in their sufferings, and bring them home again soon. Comfort their near and dear ones. Let them trust in Jesus Christ and live with hope.

Amen.

Bless our loved ones in prison, and assure them of our constant love and care. Assure them of Your even greater love, Lord, beyond humanly possible, and Your great mercy and tenderness towards them. Grant them peace beyond all understanding in realizing your limitless and boundless love for them and your constant presence in all their difficulties. Help them know that although they are fulfilling human justice, that in Your justice and mercy they are forgiven completely and the slate is wiped clean in drawing close to Your being.
Help them to overcome any barriers to saying ‘Yes’ to true happiness and fulfillment in You alone. Nothing on the outside compares to what they can have on the inside with You.
Help our loved ones and all prisoners know that they are needed and important to not only their families, but also to the other prisoners and even to the officers - to teach them what true courage is: the courage to say Yes to You Lord and to be in union with Him strongly and securely. They have an important role in the ‘body of Christ’ as they are incarcerated: to offer their prayers and their sufferings in union with Christ’s suffering, which is the greatest priviledge, not only for themselves but that to offer their suffering in union with Christ’s also for their loved ones who need prayer and for any others in need of prayer.
Watch over them and have them have mercy on the officers, who are merely human. Grant that the officers are compassionate and that prison officials, those in decision making capacities that affect the lives of prisoners, and legislators are wise and compassionate in their decisions.
You are all of our strength, no matter where we are and no matter the circumstances we all have a purpose for the greater good You desire.
Keep us in hope, as this suffering can bring joy in union and closeness with Christ and bear much spiritual fruit and growth for the greatest glory.
Grant us profound gratitude for your providence and wisdom Lord and see your blessings in every day…

Eternal God, in Whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a Fount of Mercy for us, I trust in You!
