O Prisoner-Saint of Auschwitz, help me in my plight.
Introduce me to Mary, the Immaculata, Mother of God.
She prayed for Jesus in a Jerusalem jail.
She prayed for you in a Nazi prison camp.
Ask her to comfort me in my confinement.
May she teach me always to be good.
If I am lonely, may she say “God is here.”
If I feel hate, may she say “God is love.”
If I am tempted, may she say “God is pure.”
If I sin, may she say “God is mercy.”
If I am in darkness, may she say “God is light.”
If I am unjustly condemned, may she say “God is truth.”
If I have pain in soul or body, may she say “God is peace.”
If I lose hope, may she say: “God is with you all days, and so am I.”

Lord I pray for all prisoners and their families.I pray You would comfort them when they are in despair and ease their fear and pain.I pray those around them would treat them fairly and compassionately.I pray for the safety of all prisoners.Lord we have all made mistakes and none of us are perfect.May we love our brothers and sisters in prison and care about them and their family members who worry for them.I pray that we would stand up for them within our governments that they would be treated fairly and compasionately.Please bless these people who are in prison and some who may be in despair.Thankyou Lord for Your many blessings Amen

A Daily Prayer for Justice and Mercy

Jesus, united with the Father and the Holy Spirit, give us Your compassion for those in prison. Mend in mercy the broken in mind and memory. Soften the hard of heart, the captives of anger. Free the innocent; parole the trustworthy. Awaken the repentance that restores hope. May prisoners’ families persevere in their love. Jesus, heal the victims of crime. They live with the scars. Lift to eternal peace those who die. Grant victims’ families the forgiveness that heals. Give wisdom to lawmakers and to those who judge. Instill prudence and patience in those who guard. Make those in prison ministry bearers of Your light, for all of us are in need of Your mercy! Amen.
