Please consider saying a prayer for the young singles here on CAF, and throughout the whole world who are called to marriage to be able to find a good spouse, especially in these times were marriage is under attack, and young people are being told to avoid marriage.

Praying for them. I was one of those “singles” until well past 30, so there’s hope for everyone. 😃
 
Thanks for starting this up again, Vim71. I also don’t know why so many faithful Catholic singles who desire marriage have difficulty meeting a marriage partner. We’re the ones who try to be faithful to our beliefs and try to live virtuously, and perhaps even prepared for marriage including knowing basic budgeting, running a household, taking care of young kids, etc., and yet this is the case.

My sympathies. :console:

It’s generally been much easier in our part of the world since most marriages are arranged (though with mutual consent and a period of courtship increasingly playing a part, too), but that’s changing now as well. (Also, I have the sort of profession that makes me a joker or wild card on the “marriage market”, so there’s that, too. Fortunately, my wife didn’t mind it at all.) 😦
