Got this out of an awesome little booklet called the “Catholic Devotional” that we have distributed throughout the pews at church.

Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the King of the whole world.
All that was made was created for You.
Exercise Your sovereign rights over me.
I renew my baptismal vows,
renouncing Satan with all his works and his false glamour,
and I promise to live as a good Christian.

**In particular, I pledge myself to do all in my power **
to make the rights of God and of Your Church triumph in the world.
Divine Heart of Jesus,
I offfer You whatever I do, however feeble,
to obtain that all human hearts may admit Your sacred kingship,
so that the kingdom of Your peace will be established
throughout the wolde world.
Amen.

-Pope Pius XI

Hello

That is a great prayer thankyou.

God Bless
Saint Andrew.

I say that prayer after every Mass I attend. I just love how it speaks of the rights of God. After all, isn’t God the only One with legitimate rights based on His own merits? All the rights we humans have are gifts to us from God - in truth, we merit nothing.

Cool, I try and say it after Mass as well!

I really like how it addresses my baptismal vows and the sovereign rights of God. I admit my role and I praise and honor God for His!
