I have learned that what matters is that we are always to perfer the Will of God rather than our own. For God wills our supreme happiness, he can see the bigger picture while we cannot. This is why I constantly pray for HIs Will to be Done rather than intentions be answered perhaps in a way that people wish for them to be answered. I too want their supreme happiness, and I know that If God’s will is done and if they can conform their wills to His Will, then the prayer intentions will always be answered.
