My brothers and sisters,
I just came back from confessing my sin to Jesus and receiving His forgiveness in the Holy Mystery of Reconciliation. Lately I have been struggling with a grave sin addiction that began a long time ago.
Thankfully, through Christ’s work in my life, the addiction is losing its power. Something my confessor pointed out to me today.
However this morning I chose to commit the sin again. I have been forgiven for this relapse, and I have firmly repented of the sin, making an affirmation to follow Christ even more closely than before. I don’t want to fall away from Him again!
In any case, I ask that you would pray for me brothers and sisters. Pray for me that the next time I am tempted I may holdfast to Jesus Christ, to His love and promises.
Thanks in advance!

Father God strength and endurance is needed for our dear brother. We pray that victory over his addiction is only a short time away. Comfort him as he realizes that additcion is broken through a process. Allow him to realize that he has made such progress. You are with us through sin and temptation. Guide us Father through Father
