My original question is whether its permissible to pray to God to remove an evil person.

Ask your priest.

And what do you mean by remove? If by removal you mean to harm the other person in some way, then no, I would think it is not permissible.

Ask your priest and take his advice, not the advice of a bunch of random strangers on CAF.

2nd Timothy 4 : 14

It is good to go to The Lord - for he says,
“ Vegence is mine “
“ I will - repay “ says the Lord.

If you can - find Holy salt -
Put it on the four corners of every room.
Put it on the bottom window frame.

Your battling with a formidable enemy.
Bless yourself with Holy water or Holy Oil.
Have your rosary, blessed by a Priest, always near by.

Don’t have ANYTHING given, by this person - to you, in your residence.

Looks like your understanding of spiritual warfare is rather limited.
Actually, it isn’t. I just don’t believe in black magic, voodoo or anything God says we are not to entertain.

That doesn’t mean that evil isn’t out there. It is. And we must always be on guard.

But what you are talking about is the occult. And that is something God says we aren’t to be a party to. Nothing can hurt you that you don’t allow in.

Your family is not under some ancient Siamese curse. You’ve been led to believe you are by someone who is getting his jollies seeing you so spooked. If you truly believe you are under this alleged family curse, have your priest put you in touch with an exorcist. He’ll come out and let you know if you really have anything to worry about.

And ask your priest to come out and bless your house and all who dwell within. That should make you feel better.

Gabrielle Amorth says - in his book -
“ An Exorcist Tells His Story “ -
concerning voodoo - ‘ has great evil power ‘
And ‘ the toughest curses I have ever exorcised
came either from Brazil or Africa ‘

This is from the renown chief exorcist of Rome.

Those are two places that believe in that kind of thing. Nothing can hurt you that you don’t let in.

Permissible, maybe, but it would be better to ask God to help you in his way, not your way. God may have another plan which is better than removal.

In the Lord’s Prayer, we pray “Thy will be done,” and this is always a good way to think about your prayers of petition.

Here are some suggestions: Pray for protection, pray for strength, pray for peace, pray for the evil person to become good.

We are praying for you too. May God assist and guide you in these difficulties, and strengthen you in faith, hope, and love.

As Scripture tells us “no weapon formed against you will prosper”.

You and those in your family remain in friendship with God, go to confession and receive the Eucharist, then laugh about silly hexes and charms. They are no more danger to you than is a moth fluttering around the lightbulb.

Is the video the same as his book? It’s a little long for me to watch if it is. 🙂

They are on the same topic, I’ve never sat and compared them to each other, both are very good!
