I must say I pray to Our Lady for every little thing, but you would have to admit that it would be useful to be at the same level of sanctity as Mother Teresa!

I’d rather stick to asking Mary to be a mother to me. I’ve often prayed for this, only using different words.

In some respects I think this prayer does not truly reflect my relationship with Our Lady. She is my Mother always. I don’t need to turn our relationship on and off like a tap or somehow remind Her. She sees my needs as She did at the wedding feast, well before it becomes apparent well before it is noticed.
