Prayer to Return

Hello, for a while now I’ve just been lost in this Light Deist feeling that God has simply lost interest in humanity, but it hasn’t been until recently that I’ve found that hinting feeling that could return me to a real state of faith.

However I don’t seem to know where to start to really rev up any full blown desire to re-learn and grow; so I came here asking for some prayers from fellow Catholics to help in that process.

Also I know this isn’t the place, but for the sake of returning to faith should I try to not ask questions that leave me in doubt in the future?
 
I left a Catholic College a Confirmed Atheists.
God humbled me with Mental Illness and bought
me back. I am now Fully Roman Catholic.

With confidence in Your loving heart
which offers rest to weary souls,
we come to You in this time of special need.
In Your unfailing love,
read the prayer that is written on our hearts,
and grant the grace that we ask of You,
in accordance with Your holy will.
In Your name we pray.

Praying that if you have any questions that you ask a CAF apologist or a holy, orthodox Catholic priest. Questions won’t hurt you, merely giving into your feelings of doubt will. Praying that you find a holy priest to give you spiritual direction on a regular basis. May this priest give you all the support, care and guidance you need. You shouldn’t be going through these doubts alone. Get a holy priest and a CAF apologist involved. May you not give into the devil’s temptation to doubt but trust in God and let the Holy Spirit and your guardian angel enighten and guide you. May you grow stronger in faith, hope and love and frequent the Sacraments regularly. May you be abandoned to God’s merciful love full of confidence in His merciful love. May the Truth set you free from your doubts, and may the Lord protect you from the devil’s deceits and snares. May you forge on ahead to real victory in Christ. The Truth really exisits in Jesus and His Church, so don’t be afraid. May you be courageous and persevere faithfully. Amen.
 
Praise God in His wisdom! You know in the depths of your heart of hearts that He really does care and love us all; so deeply, in fact, that He took our punishment and suffered to a degree beyond comprehension so we could be with Him forever. That’s the greatest possible expression of He Who is Love. Don’t be afraid to ask questions; it’s good to question! Only when our faith has been tested can we see its beautiful truth. I’ll certainly pray for you.

Hi Flavius I am sorry you have had this feeling of loss of faith.It does happen to us all.I found these prayers and thought they might help

Look over me lord
Make me deserving of the faith that I need to get near you. Forgive my shortage and light my way to the right path. Endowed me with the gift of humulity and courage to confront the tentations of this world. Please father never live my side and give me a shield to protect agains envy from others and my own self pity.

Prayer for Faith

Lord, I believe:
I wish to believe in Thee.
Lord, let my faith be full and unreserved,
and let it penetrate my thought,
my way of judging Divine things and human things.
Lord, let my faith be joyful
and give peace and gladness to my spirit,
and dispose it for prayer with God
and conversation with men,
so that the inner bliss of its fortunate possession
may shine forth in sacred and secular conversation.
Lord, let my faith be humble and not presume
to be based on the experience of my thought and of my
feeling;
but let it surrender to the testimony of the Holy Spirit,
and not have any better guarantee than in docility to
Tradition
and to the authority of the magisterium of the Holy Church.
