I will pray and say the Novena for the Souls in Purgatory. I feel this is a very important part of our time here on earth so that if and when we go to Purgatory those souls who may have reached Heaven through our prayers will be able to help us.
I also ask for prayers for my COPD-chronic obstructive pulmonary disease which at times causes me anxiety and depression. I do ask the Holy Spirit daily to cast out this spirit of helplessness which sometimes overcomes me.
I will continue to pray for all who request prayers.

Praying for you and will join in with your Novena. I pray daily for the souls in Purgatory, for all of them. I especially call out those who have no one else to pray for them. Some people have no one and they need to be remembered.

What a beautiful Prayer Request, Ellen.
It is a wonderful thought that those souls we have prayed for now in Purgatory who reach Heaven before we leave this earth, will be praying for us from Heaven …I am sure I will be in Purgatory for a long time and I thank God for Purgatory.
What a great burden The Lord has given you conforming you to His Crucified Self - to quote the prayer of St. Paul…will keep you in daily prayer that The Lord will bring healing to you. It must be a dreadful thing to suffer. Thank you for your prayers.
