Thank you Mirror, Sapphire and Maria 1212 for your prayers. The kids were just picked up by the dad and will be with him until the 20th. We pray for their safety and the conversation of their dad and stepmom. I just found out that they moved into a new house and the 18 yr old will not be moving in with her family, but moving in an living with her boyfriend. My ex-brother-in-law and the step mom encouraged this and the mom given up her dd on birth control. Sad and immoral. I just hope my niece and nephew won’t get these bad values at their dads. My nephew told me today that he sees is stepsister always kissing her boyfriend, so it might be good she won’t be around so much for the little ones to see this all the time.

The names of the dad and stepmom who need prayers of conversion are Angel and Gayle.

My friend and her husband are going through a custody thing so I understand the frustration of the system. I will pray for you and your family and especially these children.

May the kids be safe and mother be comforted during this time of fear and anxiety. God Bless them and watch over them always.

Thank you and to all praying. My sister just called me and she is a mess. She misses her children so much. She has been working a lot hours to fill up the time. She just cried and told me all of her frustrations and how the counselors after telling her that they feel the dad of her children should have supervised visitation, feel that their hands are tied. She can’t get a hold of her attorney for she had a death in the family. I told her to put her trust only in God and no one else. She did not hear from her children either and the phone she gave her daughter has been turned off since Friday night. She could use some comfort as Itbpoe said for this is a great time of suffering for her. Thanks again for the prayers.

I know I feel drained of all this, I can’t imagine what my sister is going through.

Hi everyone, things are worse. My niece just called me and she sounded terrible. She has a sore throat and a terrible cough that sounded like bronchitis. She said she can’t sleep at night due to the cough and pain in her throat. I asked if they give her medicine and she said no that they do not believe in medicine. She said her father will not give his address to her mom because he “will give it to her when he gives it to her.” She has medical bills that need to be given to him in 14 days. He knows this. Also, my nephew who is 7 is missing his mother terribly and asks for her at night. As a result of this, he has tantrums and cries out for his mother. His dad and his step mom end up hitting him over and over until he “shuts up.” There is so much abuse going on here. I know prayers work, but we need the law to do something, and everyone says their hands are tied. My niece was whispering to me and when I asked she said they have control of her phone and who she can call. She took the phone without their knowledge to call me and call her mother next.

I hate child abuse and I feel so helpless in helping. My sister is just so upset at how her children aare being treated.

Today is the feast of Our Immaculate Mother’s Heart and I pray that as a mother she will help my niece and nephew and my sister in this horrible cycle that has been going on for two years now and that it will end soon. Mary help us please.

This is so emotional for me also for my niece and nephew are suffering…

Dear Nana3,

I am so sorry to hear this! I will keep praying!

It is absolutely shameful that the law is failing to protect these innocent children. Are they able to keep a small rosary, or something to comfort them, and to remind them of Gods love for them, while they are with their Dad? Maybe a childrens Bible, to help remind them how much their Father in heaven loves them. I know they are still quite young to read the Bible on their own…

I will keep the prayers coming for you and your whole family.

Sincerely,

Maria1212

Thanks Maria. Actually my niece reads adults Bible already and I gave her one for her First Communion two years ago. She feels that God has abandon them. I keep telling her that this is not true, but then she asks why He allows her to suffer. I try to explain the best I can, but they do not understand. Currently, all she wants is medicine for her cough, but when she ask, they say she doesn’t need it. Poor thing has just accepted that until she gets to mommy, she will not get the attention she needs when sick. She feels sorry for her brother who gets hit nightly just for wanting mommy. They won’t even let him call her and say it is to late. My sister has informed both of her children that she doesn’t care if it was 4 am and they wanted to talk to call her. The dad just doesn’t want the kids talking to their mother at all. He said in court that he doesn’t need to talk to his children on a daily basis and nor does she. That was his justification for not allowing my sister to talk to her children when with him. He has become so evil and hateful. He is hurting his children more than my sister. How sad!😦

Thanks again for your prayers. My nephew does sleep with a crucifix when he is with my sister, but I don’t know if he is allowed to at his dads.

Thanks to you all for your prayers. My niece and nephew are now home safe and sound with their mother tonight. My nephew has excessive anger though and it all starts. He gets this way after visits with his dad. My niece got into the car and told my sister, Norma, that she had something really bad to telll her but that she was so afraid to let her know.

She did talk, after my sister told her that she did not need to fear. She told my sister that her dad and his wife fought one day really “bad.” She said they were physical with one another and throwing things. The step sister who is 15 yr. old called the police and they came out to the house. They did not arrest either party and they were furious at the girl for calling the cops. My niece told my sister that her step mom threatened her again and told her and her brother that they better not tell their mother or the counselors. She told them that if they did, they “would get it” and “they would never see their father again as long as they lived.”

Please continue to pray that the counselors, who the kids see on Monday the 25th, will do something to stop the visitations. We knew they always fought and that their dad has excessive anger, but we did not know it was this bad. Domestic violence is so detrimental to the children. I just hope that they do not have to go back for the other two more sets of two weeks at their dad’s this summer.

I pray for the children. and for the father and the mother and the new wife.

God help us all.

Thanks Papa.

The kids had their counseling appointment moved from Monday to today, Friday. They both revealed to the counselor what happened while at their dad’s and discussed his anger on a daily basis. Anyway, my sister just received a call from the counselor informing her that she has decided, after talking to another counselor, to call in child protective services. They know the children were not physically abused, but while they told the story to the counselor she can see they were emotionally scared. The child protective services will be coming tonight to talk to the kids.

All of you that have been praying thank you so much. I would have never thought that with all of your prayers, things are finally changing towards protecting the children. It is about time. I just hope that they will do something because if they don’t and the kids have to go another two weeks with the dad, he will punish them for telling their counselors. YOUR PRAYERS ARE WORKING!!! THANKS SO MUCH. THANKS SO MUCH.

Continue to pray now that child protective services will finally do something!!

Hi to all who have been reading this thread. I am crying now as I write this. I don’t know what more we can do to protect these kids. Child protective services came and interviewed the kids and said they can do nothing. They said the kids were affected emotionally, but not physically and therefore nothing can be done. Norma is completely without hope. She, as any mother would, wants to protect her kids from the anger and verbal abuse at the kids’ dads. He gets the kids again on July 4 for two weeks. She wants to refuse him visitation. This will be her second time and she will do jail time, but she is desperate. What would any mother do? Do you allow your kids to go and get abused? Something horrible happened today. While Norma was at work, my mother who is 72 yr old watched her children. The little boy, Luis, has been so angry since leaving his dad’s. Anyway, he was very violent with my mother. She was crying and nervous, afraid of a 7 yr old. He was throwing heavy things and she was afraid. She has told me and my sister that she will no longer take care of him because he is too much for her. She takes care of my other nephew who is 15 months old. He was crying at the reaction of Luis. Luis screamed out horrible names to my mother. It is too much for her. All his sister could say about her brother is that he is acting like her father. When he calmed down he said that he got hit and punched in the head all the time by his dad and locked up in the bedroom. My niece said that they would tell her to go into the bedroom before disciplining my nephew. She did say they kept him in the bedroom a lot. They changed the locks to lock on the outside of the room. He was abused this way. :crying: No wonder he has so much anger in him. I am now on my way to see my sister’s attorney and praying and hoping that an emergency motion can be done to stop visitation. If that can not be done, by nephew will get more abused and not to mention the trouble they both will be in for talking to the counselor about the police coming out.

Thanks for your prayers. Any words of hope and comfort would be appreciated. I don’t know what to say to my sister anymore. These two children are like my own children. My dd grew up side by side with them. They use to live a block away and I would walk over to her house or her to mind. I would help raise them when she worked. They are like my own and it is killing me to see that my nephew is growing up to be like his dad, so full of anger. Please pray for Luis. Marissa happened it by depression. The kids need an angel to get them out of this hell they have been in for the last two years.

Sorry, I am usually full of hope, but right now I am angry at what their dad did to them and how he is so blind to what he is actually doing to his own children.

Nothing can be done to stop visitation, according to the attorney. She is planning to have the judge order a guardian ad litem in August when we go to court for the dad not paying child support in over 4 months, keeping the kids from school and in contempt for not taking the kids to counseling. He was also to discussing moving far away with my sister before doing so and he did not. It falls under shared parenting. My niece made this comment to me now that she has to go to her dads on July 4th, “They are going to beat us for talking to the counselor.”😦
