Is there a local shelter she can go to? The kids would recieve counseling there, and so could she. If there is not one where you live, try the closest large city. Will pray for all

The kids do receive counseling when with my sister on a weekly basis, but the dad gets the kids every two weeks for two weeks. He is suppose to take them to counseling, but doesn’t. He gets two more sets of two weeks before school starts. My sister is not threaten by him and therefore she can’t go to one of the shelters. Child protective service, called Department of Children and Families (DCF) here in Florida, are the ones to do something and they don’t. This was the 5th of 6th report on the dad and nothing gets done. We even called the politicians and they asked DCF to investigate all this and they did and still nothing got done, and this was before this last report made by the counselors. The kids are not afraid going back to their dads. The dad called last night and talked with my niece and the only thing he said and asked was, “Who made the report to DCF?” My niece told him the counselor. His next question was who told them you or your brother. She was afraid and said her brother and told him that she forgot to tell him that he was not to mention anything to anyone. She is learning to lie out of fear for what he would do to her. But now my nephew is going to get hit on the head again and locked up again in the room. They did this a lot the last two weeks with his dad.

I do know a cop and he is going to investigate and see if a police report was made the day they came out and see how angry the dad really was. My niece said they could here their dad in the house and he was still yelling and screaming when the cops arrived. My sister did tell him, for he asked to speak to my sister last night, to not fight in front of the kids and he just laughed. The reason he wanted to talk to my sister was to ask her who reported the incident to DCF and wondered if he was getting the kids on the 4th of July for his two weeks. He gets them, for their nothing that can be done. The kids see the counselors again this Friday and if they disclose the hitting on the head for my nephew, I hope they call DCF again and maybe this time, they will see that something is wrong with this dad.

Thanks so much for your prayers. These kids need it. My sister is depressed and needs them so much too. Thanks again.

If push comes to shove, take her and the kids to church and have her claim sanctuary. It still exists. Will be praying

nana3, I haven’t responded before, but I want you to know that Norma and her children have my prayers–now and, especially, starting Wednesday. May God bless them and the angels guide and protect them. Amen.

We may get some good news tomorrow, please pray to have visitations stop for the dad. The kids had a counseling appointment on Friday and Luis lost it and got real angry and was yelling to the counselor that he didn’t want to go to his dad for he was afraid and was going to get “locked up for hours” again. He actually ran away from her and she tried for 30 minutes to call him down and he would or could not. She told my sister to call her attorney. The counselor and the attorney talked. The attorney asked the counselor if she felt that the kids should go to their dad’s for two weeks and she said no. She told the attorney that the kids can’t handle going to the dad’s emotionally. She felt something was real wrong for them to fear going that bad. My sister than talked to her attorney and the attorney said that she will try to get a hold of the Judge before Wednesday can happen. We hope to hear that she got a hold of the Judge either on Friday or tomorrow and that he will stop visitation on the recommendation of the Judge.

Thanks so much for your continued prayers and we hope to get a miracle soon. Please pray that the judge in the case will sign an emergency order stopping visitation for the dad.

I read all the posts and I am adding your sister’s family to my prayer list. I will pray for you too, because this is heart breaking for all of you.

Praying that today went well. Keep us posted.
Thanks for your prayers. My sister’s attorney could not set a date with the ex’s attorney. They would not cooperate. My sister’s attorney said that you can only file one emergency motion and she really didn’t want to do it now. They filed for a non-emergency motion to have visitations supervised. This with all the other issues will be addressed before the judge on July 11th. When the judge hears the testimony of the counselors and how this dad has not paid child support for 4 months and no medical bills for over a year, the ex does not look good to say the least. Unfortunately, the kids have to go with dad on Wednesday and wait to see if the judge will have him return the children on the 11th after court.

To show you how sick this man is, my sister had a message from him to have his kids call him and they did. My sister asked her daughter for the phone to talk to him. She told him not to yell or punish the children for talking to their counselor. He was angry at that. He told her that his stress is her fault and that she keeps bringing him to court and if she was patient, she would get the money eventually. She asked him how much longer does he think she has to wait for child support and medical bills. He said he had no money, yet he bought a new car. She also told him to stop hitting her son and he lied and said he never hits him. My niece and nephew say otherwise. He is a liar and we just don’t believe him anymore.

Luis, poor thing, found out today that he has to go with his dad. He lost it again and was very angry. He called my sister names and even is back to hitting her. He had this problem when they first divorce, but got better. He has regressed to doing what he sees his dad doing to his new wife. What a mess!! I called my sister tonight and my niece picked it up and I could hear the screaming and yelling going on. I asked who was yelling and she said her brother. My poor sister, she needs lots of patience with him. She is afraid what his dad will do if he had one of these at his house. Counselors have told her and him that hitting him or spanking will only make it worse. The dad doesn’t believe that and continues to hit him. WE pray the judge will see that he is harming his children and give him supervised visitation. This has been going on long enough.

So now we have a court date for July 11th. We pray for a miracle for up until now the law has always been on his side and he has known how to manipulate it. He won’t be able to stop the counselors this time from talking for the counseling was court ordered.

Thank you. My mom and dad are the ones who are not accepting of all this and the way the law has handled it so far. They fear for their grandkids. Thanks for your prayer for me too, I could use it. I will keep you and all who are praying for my sister and her children in my prayers as well for the Lord to bless you all for your kindness. God Bless all of you.

I pray and hope this situation will be resolved, and pray as well for the kids, that they might find the love, comfort and peace that they deserve.

Thanks Milliardo and Lily. My sister is very concerned presently. Her daughter is not answering the cell phone since she left. The last time she heard from her was a text message while in the back seat of her dad’s car when she left her mother. My sister has even called her ex’s cell phone but he doesn’t answer or honor her request to have the kids call her. She tried using the GPS on the cell phone and it says it is out of range. Bad thoughts are going through her mind, like he took the kids out of state, which he is not suppose to. He is not the same man she married and he owns a gun for he is a cop. She hears the news and how dad’s lose it and kill their children and than themselves. She is going crazy. I keep telling her that it is the devil putting these bad thoughts in her mind, but it doesn’t help that she has not heard from her children. Her daughter usually calls to say they arrived okay at their dad’s, but she didn’t this time.

Please pray that they are safe and that on July 11th the dad gets supervised visitation or suspend his visitation.

This is the most outrageous situation I have ever heard of! So many people know of the abuse and they do NOTHING. I said once before Nana, that I would consider leaving the state or country with them, no matter what the consequences. If they can’t find her, they can’t prosecute. Anything to protect these poor innocent children. They are going to be very messed up adults. And for all of you to have to stand there helpless and not be able to do anything about it.
I am so sorry that you all are going through this terrible ordeal. I will pray for you all.

My sister received a call from her daughter today, Sunday. She asked her why she didn’t answer her phone and she told her that her dad took her phone away, which is what we thought. She was very sad and so was my nephew when he talked to their mother. Marissa started to cry on the phone with her mom and asked when she is coming home. She told her this Wednesday if the court orders it. She told her mom that she wanted to come home now. My sister asked to talk to her dad to tell him that the phone is not his and he should not take it away and Marissa freaked out and said no that she was not even to know that she told her that he took it away. My sister can hear the fear in her voice.

Marissa called me but her dad was present because I could hear him. She told me that she was returning my call. I never called her, but know that she said that because her dad was present and she just can’t call anyone she knows. Sad huh?

The kids are safe, but sad and looking forward to coming home. Marissa did tell her mom that her brother has had two huge anger tantrums so far, but my sister did not ask how her dad handled it because he usually hits him and she didn’t want to know.

I will let you all know about Wednesday. The court hearing is at 3 p.m. the Hour of Mercy and I hope and pray the Lord will be merciful to these kids.

Nana,

I will be praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3 on Wednesday. I will be asking my prayer group to pray then as well. (We are praying for them in our 54 day Rosary Novena.)

I am going to write this on my calendar and I will also be praying!! Let your sister know that there are hundreds of us that are praying for her and for these children.

Praying for the children and that the nightmare ends on Wednesday.

I need to ask you all a question and see what you would do. My sister’s attorney called her today to find out if the judge orders supervised visitation, with who in our family he could do this with? She told him that all of us are upset at him to say the least at how he has treated Norma and the kids. She asked the lawyer if it could be at a visitation center and he said that he knows this judge and that will not happen. This judge involves the family. The lawyer asked her about the ex’s side of the family, but we know them and they will just allow him to see the kids alone. They also live about an hour away and would have to come and get the kids and go back to their home and long story short it would be a mess.

My parents are now offering their house, but I don’t feel right about that decision. This man is violent and I would hate for my parents to get hurt in any way. I don’t understand why a visitation center can’t be used, but if it is not possible, who would you do in this situation?

I don’t know.
I would most likely open my big mouth and say something like, no one trusts him enough to have in their house. All of my friends and family know that he is violent. So and so is willing to do it, but I fear for their safety. What kind of guarantees are there?

That way the opinion is on the record, but there is also somewhere for the children to be safe with their father. I would also, if it ends up being your parents, having someone else there. Maybe the biggest guy in your family. :o

Prayers for your family.
