Amcminn84, “demonic oppression” and “neurological disorder” are not mutually exclusive. Remember that Satan’s goal is to separate us (or rather, to get us to separate ourselves) from the Love of G_D. Despair and mental anguish are very powerful tools the Evil One can use in this regard. Having body parts moved and being shoved off the bed are not good signs. Neither are blackouts and abrupt personality changes; however, those are explainable medically as well as spiritually.
I think the first order of business would be to use everything in your power (the courts, if need be) to have him get a full neurological workup. What if he had one of these blackouts while operating a motor vehicle? There is also the question of his sudden delusions about your unfaithfulness. Has he ever threatened you or the children while in the grip of these delusions?
Have any of his friends or co-workers noticed a change in his behavior?
Do you belong to a church locally, and if so can I ask which one? Have you asked anyone from there to pray with you for your husband?
What was happening that caused your husband to want to do a house cleansing? Were you both involved in it or did he do it by himself? My concern there has to do with “authority”: The owner or renter of a property (since both have control and responsibility over the property) have the authority to do “house blessings” which can serve to remove evil entities and calls the protection of G_D and His Holy Angels upon the property and the people living there. However, if he ran across an object which had a demonic entity attached to it (such as a wardrobe) and attempted to confront the entity directly, that might have created an opening for this entity to influence or even attempt to possess your husband.
The question of “authority” CANNOT be minimized. I recently read an account where a group of Christians (not Catholic) who lived in a city that housed a large prison started a program where the people, whenever they drove past the prison, would say prayers of rebuke against the spirits in that prison. The spiritual problems in that prison did NOT go away, and in fact all of the people in that program developed severe problems in their marriages, their work, or their other ministries. It is one thing to pray prayers of protection over the people who work there or who live in that city; but the simple fact is they believed that because they were Christians they had authority over those prison spirits. They didn’t.
That’s why I’m hesitant to get members of your church involved if they aren’t already. Any Christian can pray and lead others in prayers of deliverance, which implore and call on G_D to rebuke spirits that are oppressing a person. Not every Christian can do an exorcism, though, and those that try place themselves and the ones they love in grave spiritual danger. I’m concerned that some of your church members may take it upon themselves to go beyond deliverance and to attempt an exorcism.
“Demonic possession” is very different from demonic influence or demonic obsession. Possession cannot, can NOT occur unless the victim has done something to invite the possessing spirit into their lives. In “The Exorcist”, the possession occurred when Regan (and the original boy in the actual possession the novel is based on) began using a Ouija board to communicate with spirits. Since the individual has invited the spirit into their lives, the exorcism must be performed by someone with authority over the person. In the Catholic Church, the local bishop (as the head of the local Church) has such authority over every Christian in his diocese, even those that are “imperfectly joined” to the Catholic faith. This is why only the local bishop can authorize a priest to perform a true exorcism.
It is clear that it is NOT the Holy Spirit leading him to believe you are responsible for his actions. If in fact you HAD been cheating on him and if this HAD resulted in demons being brought into the house, the Holy Spirit would be convicting him to work with you to resolve the issues and keep the family together. By working to split the family, it is clear this spirit he is calling on is NOT from G_D.
Apologies for the long post. The answers to these questions must all be prayerfully considered, and if it should come to his requiring a full exorcism they are the kinds of questions your priest would ask.
One more question: Have both you and your husband been baptized with water using the Triune Formula, i.e., in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit? A number of smaller churches practice baptism in the name of Jesus only, or only baptism in the name of the Holy Spirit. These baptisms are non-scriptural and invalid.
Am praying now for you, your husband, and your family.

TALK TO YOUR PRIEST. Hopefully he will put you in contact with an exorcist or a sensitive to analyze the situation.

Keep a lot of holy water on hand. When you feel attacked, call down as many saints as you can. Some very powerful saints are St. Catherine of Siena, Padre Pio, St. John Vianney, and Ven. Frederic Baraga. Give the battle over to Jesus; let Him fight it for you.
