I’m not sure if any of you remember praying for a little girl in my class who had no friends and a mother with a terminal condition for which she died soon after. With prayers and strong family support she was doing so well. Now things have changed. Her dad who let his wife’s family care for her is now not allowing them to see her at all and moving away with her. She is back to being alone in a very unhealthy environment physically and spiritually. Everyone is asking for prayer! Please pray again for this dear girl who is very special- thank you!

A Prayer for Loneliness

Dear Heavenly Father,

Help Arriana to feel your presence. Please send your Comforter to her. Help her to feel full of the love you have for her.

Help her to know in her heart and remember that according to your Word; she is never alone because you are with her.

But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular Arriana), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Giving even more, you gave your life as you suffered a martyr’s death to preserve your gift to our Lord.
