(1) My residence is in need of home repairs. I may be able to borrow some or all of the money I need. However, in the worst case, the cost of repairs may be so high that I may have to walk away from the residence. I would then have to start paying rent which I am not in a good position to do at this time.

I was told earlier this week that more repairs will be necessary regarding my windows.

Also I was told today that more damage was discovered in the basement.

Thanks to all of you for your past prayers.

Thanks in advance.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular signit, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph:

Joseph, by the work of your hands
and the sweat of your brow,
you supported Jesus and Mary,
and had the Son of God as your fellow worker.

Teach me to work as you did,
with patience and perseverance, for God and
for those whom God has given me to support.
Teach me to see in my fellow workers
the Christ who desires to be in them,
that I may always be charitable and forbearing
towards all.

Grant me to look upon work
with the eyes of faith,
so that I shall recognize in it
my share in God’s own creative activity
and in Christ’s work of our redemption,
and so take pride in it.

When it is pleasant and productive,
remind me to give thanks to God for it.
And when it is burdensome,
teach me to offer it to God,
in reparation for my sins
and the sins of the world.

Amen.

I would think that you would probably qualify for a government grant for home repairs. You just need to own your home and be in a certain low income level. If you are on S. S. or disability you would be qualified. Call your SS office or Hud and get information. Don’t go to the Internet for info. on grants as they primarily want a fee for info. that is free from the government. In some cases you may qualify for a New home or better home. Do investigate PDQ. In the meantime I will pray for you to have a good outcome. Decent housing should be a right in America. Peace and prayers.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Remembering you and your intentions in my daily prayers. God bless.

Prayer to the Blessed Mother

Holy Mother, please intercede for us.
Hold the sorrowful, strengthen the fearful,
give aid to all needing help or healing,
assist those who are sick, in pain or suffering,
be with those needing peace, console the lonely,
comfort the lost or hopeless, guard the unborn,
pray for those who are dying or who have died,
soften those with hardened hearts,
enlighten those who do not yet see truth,
help us be brave enough to let our hurt and anger go,
show us the way to do the right thing,
protect those who are in danger, and guide us from every evil;
may all who keep your sacred commemoration
experience the might of your assistance.
Amen

O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity.
O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power.
O show us that you are our Mother.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen.

PRAYER TO
OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP
(For Financial Aid)

Mary, our Mother,
we know that you are our Perpetual Help,
not only in our spiritual need but in our material need as well.
With humble hearts and childlike confidence we beg you
to help us in our present financial stress.
Due to unforseen circumstances,
we are now in dire need,
since we cannot meet our just debts.
Dear Mother, we are not asking for wealth or proseperity,
but merely for help in satisfying our pressing obligations.
You are the Queen of Heaven and earth,
and, as such, the dispenser of so many favors granted by your Son, Jesus.
We know you are most kind and generous to all your devoted children.
Loving Mother, we plead with you
to obtain the financial help we so desperately need in our present situation.
We thank you, dear Mother,
and promise to make your perpetual help known far and wide.

Amen.

Thanks again to all of you.

More prayers are requested.

I was informed today that there was serious damage that I did not know about, and there may be more. I am just hoping I can somehow get this house fixed and pay for it.

Thanks again.
