I found out today the details of what happened in court. First of all, her psychologist did not show up again even after a subpoena to defend her daughter. The judge was very angry at her and told her that she was a jealous person because her ex got remarried. They tried the same thing with my sister, who was not jealous. I guess this is the same plan of attack for all lawyers. My friend came out of there looking like a crazy mom and very over protective. The judge apparently yelled at her firmly and told her not to make any more CPS reports of abuse. I talked to her dad today and he is just sad over the whole thing and said that it doesn’t do good to make reports anyway to child protective services for they don’t do anything. He also told me something else very shocking. The oldest daughter, who is now 13, was raped by her dad when she was only 5 years old, but has blocked it out of her mind. The only way it came out is that she told this to a cousin, who is now just talking and told the mom what her dd said to her many years ago. So this father has a thing for sexually abusing his daughters. Please continue to pray that someone will help this family, especially the girls. By the way, the dad gets the kids every weekend until the end of the school year and two weeks in the summer. Pray for Andrea, my friend, the mom of the girls who feels very helpless.
