Prayers and CCC

[billcu1]

I just came across in Art. 3 of CCC or more well know as §2803 et sequentia words concerning “seven petitions”? I have never heard of this. DOes anyone know anything about it as I try to read this and might like to comment to us all on what they know about it. It is from the prayers part of the CCC. Looks interesting.

God Bless

Could it be anything to do with the seven petitions in the Our Father, which Jesus said we were to take as a pattern for our prayer?

It’s like the Lord’s prayer but I have never heard of it put as “7 petitions”. Or a pattern of prayer.
