Prayers answered in other Religions?

Does God Answer prayers from say Muslims, or Jews? Or when Protestants pray for the conversion of Catholics. If he does how can he if they are of the wrong religion?

How do you know that it is the Christian God who is answering your prayers? In the Bhagavad Gita Krishna says that he hears all prayers, no matter what God they are addressed to:Some with faith may offer worship
to other gods as devotees
but that is only me they worship
tho’ not in ways the law decrees.

Bhagavad Gita 9:23
How can you determine which God it is that is answering your prayers? Any god, or god-like being, with the power to be able to answer prayers will also be able to hear all such prayers no matter which god or gods they are nominally addressed to.

God hears and answers the prayers of ALL who acknowledge Him in their hearts and do His will.

God does not always answer prayers of non-Catholics. He does not always “answer” Catholic prayers, either.

Now, we must understand what is meant by “answering.” If you mean that whatever they asked for is granted, we all know from experience that this is not the case. How many times have we prayed for things or events and been disappointed?

If you mean “Does God desire and respond to non-Catholics who seek a closer connection to Him?” Yes, he answers these prayers.

If we pray for something that is against God’s will or God’s plan, he will not hear it no matter who is praying. If we are seeking God’s help to live the life He calls us to, he will.

Someone who prays for another to leave the Catholic Church is a differnet case. God may allow it to further another part of the plan. It may be against God’s will, but someone else may hear it and act. Either way, it is not because God sees it as good to grant the petition.
 
God answers prayers that are within His will, from anyone who is honestly seeking Him. Someone who prays to a god that doesn’t really exist but who is trying to find out who is the real God, for something good, will be answered in a way that encourages further discovery of who God is.

All prayers are answered, it is just that sometimes the answer is “no” and sometimes “wait”. 🙂

God is Love. He created every human being that ever existed in His Own Image and Likeness. He Loves every one of us regardless of our religion. God reads the heart of each of us and He will save who He Wills.

God did come to earth to teach us about Himself and to show us how we can relate to Him; however, He certainly doesn’t ignore those who aren’t Christian. How could a He ignore someone He loves just because they call Him by a different name? Could you ignore someone you love if they didn’t know your name and constantly called you something else? He will answer them just as He answers us: Yes, No, Wait.

God is not limited by our religion.
