Prayers: dementia and abuse

Please pray for our aging parents. One who is displaying signs of dimentia and their spouse who is being verbally and possibly physically abused. Please pray for their sons to listen to God on how to intervine on their parents behalf without any POA’s and reluctance on every ones’s part to act.
 
Prayer for parents

O God the Father of mankind, who hast given unto me these my parents, , as they move closer to eternal life: help me with Thy heavenly grace, that I may be able to fulfil the duty of being a good child and take respectful leadership when they cannot for themselves. Teach me both what to say and do, make me to be gentle, yet firm; considerate and watchful; and deliver me equally from the weakness of indulgence, and the excess of severity; , I may be careful to lead them in the ways of wisdom and good physical care all the days of their lives. Please allow us to find professionals, who love you almighty God, to help us walk this path. Grant us the ability to forgive and to step in where we need to. Amen.

O Heavenly Father, I commend my parents to Thy care. Be Thou their God and Father; and mercifully supply whatever is lacking in me through frailty or negligence. Strengthen them to overcome the corruptions of the world. Pour Thy grace into their hearts, and strengthen and multiply in them the gifts of Thy Holy Spirit, that they may daily grow in grace and in knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ; and so, faithfully serving Thee here, may come to rejoice in Thy presence hereafter. Amen.
 
O Sweet Jesus please guide the caretakers of these beloved parents, as You commanded us to honor our fathers and mothers.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Giggly Giraffe’s parents. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Giggly Giraffe’s parents’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
 
Do you have senior aging services in their area who could possibly assist?

See that great love rise up among them and heroism prevail. Lead each member toward the eternal garden. Let every word from each of their tongues be lined with love and charity and unselfishness. Send angels to minister to them, temper them, and instill in them a zeal for the eternal banquet of life. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

Heavenly Father, you have created this family from their bodies, to their marriages, and blessed them with many resources. Jesus, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us. Please allow the blind to see what is truely going on and lead us on how to care for your creation as you desire us to. Let this family pull together in love instead of divide in denial and indifference. Strenghten fraternal love and let it not be broke. Help us navigate our way through the healthcare system (hippa, Medicare, and organizations that are big and scary). Please allow the deaf to hear the anguish of these anguished parents who need help. Allow our Father/grandfather the graces he needs when being verbally (physically???) assaulted, and give our mother/grandmother the peace of forgivness, conrol , and gentleness to get through episodes of memory loss. Help the children separate them should the circumstance get out of control and it would be a blessing to have almighty God send us a loving professional to help this family ---- like Raphael did for the. Tolbit family.

Praying for compassion and loving kindness to be given to your loved one. Anyone who is cruel to our elderly and children will reap what the sow.

To the one who has asked for the prayer request, set up a nanny cam and keep close to your Senior.
