Prayers desperately needed for depressed/suicidal family

Hi, I’m very worried about my family. My family is already genetically vulnerable to depression, and my sister has been depressed and “joking” about suicide. She, in turn, acts aggressive towards her youngest sister and bullies her. Youngest sister has expressed that she wishes she was not alive when she’s being bullied at home. Two other siblings have been depressed at times, and I hope it does not arise again. The worst part is that I don’t live at home (I’m at a dorm for college), so I can’t help,and my mom doesn’t seem to understand the gravity of the situation. She thinks my sister is being dramatic or doing it for attention.

I would greatly appreciate prayers for the mental health of my siblings, and that their relationships with God will get better as well.

Rebuking Particular Spirits Affecting the Household

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, strengthened by the intercession of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God, of Blessed Michael the Archangel, of the Blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints and Angels of Heaven, and powerful in the holy authority of His name, we ask of the heavenly Father to rebuke this spirit of depression and to command it in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to depart from us and from this household, immediately, quietly, and without harm to anyone.

We bring the power and the protection of the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ over this household. Satan has no part in this household or with any member of our family. This family and household is sealed with the saving blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, forgive us and our family for not being all we should be in Your eyes. Let the cleansing, healing waters of our baptism wash over us and this household, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Hi Rachel

Depression and suicidal comments are no joke. My half sister God rest her soul, killed herself when I was 11 years old. My family knew she needed help but really didn’t push her to get help. Some doctor gave her some pills but she really needs someone to talk too. Someone she can let all her emotions out with. Please get help, all of you. Go and get counseling together but please take this seriously .

I will pray for you and your family and hope that God will give you the strength you need to deal with this. God bless and keep you all.
