Prayers for 4 yr. old Aiden had a siezure then surgery now in coma

Aiden has a shunt to relieve pressure to his brain from cerebral spinal fluid. His does not drain properly. He has had it since shortly after birth. Last week it failed. He has undergone two surgeries last week. He was put into a post surgical medication coma. Tomorrow they are to begin weening him off. Please pray for him . An NRI scan today showed little to no damage.
 
Thank You, Lord, that there is no additional damage from this crisis.
Please bless Aiden with healing and recovery, and protection from a reoccurrence of a shunt breakdown.
Please bless and support Aiden’s famiy in their care of him, and bless him mwith a happy and fulfilling life.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Aiden). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Aiden’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Thursday into Friday Update: Basically awake. Very fearful eyes. Still intubated as they are treating a sever aspiration pneumonia. He is restrained due to intubation tube, external ventricular shunt (Brain device to drain off cerebral spinal fluid) an arterial line for BP accurate monitoring and to get atrial blood samples and a half dozen IV’s.(down from 8)
He seems to wake for short periods but is still heavily sedated. These awake periods are getting longer.
He is still on a ventilator as they treat and try to clear the aspiration pneumonia. He has a good strong cough when the suction out the tube. Right lung partially re-inflated. Left up to normal expectations.

him. Bring him to wholeness and strength for service in Your

St. Jude, you witnessed the healing power of our Lord Jesus. You saw His compassion for the sick and dying. You yourself touched the sick, shared the sorrows of the mournful, and encouraged the despairing. You received this authority and healing power to work wonders, to cure the incurable, to make people whole. We ask you to intercede with our brother, Jesus, to send His saving grace to heal the sickness and suffering of Aiden, to uplift his/her despondent spirit, and to instill hope in his/her heart. Amen.
