Prayers for a 4 year old

HI all, one of my homeschooling family needs prayers for their little girl. She turned 4 yesterday, and was admitted into the hospital on that day. She has kidney failure and is retaining fluids. The really need to get an IV started and were not able to yesterday. They are going to put a PIC in her today under sedation. Please pray that they can do this for this little girl needs IV fluids and also blood needs to be drawn to find out the source of her problem. The family is a very devote Catholic family and appreciates all prayers for little Aidan. I will keep you informed as they keep us informed. The dad wrote an email last night to us, begging for prayers. His little girl doesn’t look so good. She needs IV fluids. They need to draw blood for test and were unsuccessful yesterday as well.

Lord Jesus, please heal Aidan of all disease so that she may live a long life declaring your love. Please comfort her family and friends during this scary time. Thank you Lord, Amen. :crossrc:
 
My prayers are with Aiden and her family for healing. May God Bless this little girl and her family with his grace and peace. Amen.
 
The poor little child.

God please support and comfort her parents and family as medical staff struggle to help her. God grant that they will be successful in testing to find the cause of Aidan’s illness, and then in treating her.

Please heal the dear child, Jesus, on the feast of Your heart.

I will keep them all in my prayers too today and I plan on going to Mass tomorrow in honor of the feast day of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and will ask Jesus when I receive Holy Communion about her then too, (and for her family and all the nurses and Doctors that are helping her.):signofcross:

Thank you all for your prayers for Aidan. She is doing much better. I saw in an email today that she still has swelling, but nothing like before.

All of Aidan’s bloodwork has come back negative for infections so far. They believe Aidan has nephratic (sp?) syndrome, which causes the kidneys to swell and lose function. Sort of like how asthma swells the bronchial tubes and limits breathing - at least that’s my take on it; don’t know if that’s medically accurate, but I’m not a doctor 😉 They aren’t sure what caused it, and are still awaiting results from a nuclear test to see the extent of the illness.

Aidan will probably need some steroids to reduce the swelling and regular kidney screenings to catch flare-ups in the future before they become too serious. Some patients have several flare-ups per year, while others can go for years without a single one. Let’s pray Aidan will be in the latter group!

Thanks again for praying for her and her family. They want to be home soon.
 
Lord God, heavenly Father, please hear our prayers for Aidan: May she be freed from danger, relieved of suffereing, embraced with compassion in the gentle arms of the Good Shepherd, and healed in body and spirit, I pray.

We ask you to intercede with our brother, Jesus, to send his saving grace to heal the sickness and suffering of Aidan to uplift her despondent spirits, and to instill hope in her heart. Amen."
 
Angel Raphael, servant at the right hand of the throne of God, we ask you to intercede on behalf of this little girl Aidan, and to bring her the medical diagnosis she needs. We pray the all of her attendants and doctors will be infused with clarity and wisdom to define what ailments she has. We know you bring healing knowledge, and we ask that you would help it get to these people soon. Amen.
 
HI everyone and thanks for your prayers. More prayers are still needed. Aidan was not responding to the steroid treatment so she had to be re-admitted to the hospital. She is not doing well. Please continue to keep this little girl in your prayers. I will let you know, as I know, on her recovery.
