I start an ethics class tomorrow which is being taught through the lense of very liberal protestantism. (I know because I started taking the class last semester and ended up droping it.) I of course am a conservative Catholic and I have issues with being required to take the class here, but I’ve been told that it is the way it has to be. I cannot go down to the Catholic Seminary to take ethics, I have to take it here. Pray that I can keep my patients and not go crazy during this class. Thanks.

Praying for you!

You’ll have to decide, is it worth risking your grade to defend your beliefs? Pray to have the Holy Spirit give you the eloquency to speak the truth.

Praying for you.

Our Father…
Hail Mary…
Golry be…

Amen.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Praying that your faith is not shaken by the different views that you will be exposed to and that you bear all things with patience …

The first class went better than I expected, but I have to say to your question, Yes it is. I really do not care what the professor gives me, (as I long I can get out of that class with a C I’ll be happy.) But I carried my Bible and Catechism to class with me yesterday. 👍

I am fed up with the way this class is going. I seriously need prayers! The only time the Catholic Church is brought up is when we are discussing someone who has critizied the church for different stances it has taken. I am loosing my patients in the class, and I am not sure how much longer I can keep it up without going insane. If only they would have let me take it at the Catholic seminary about 20 minutes down the road, but they would not. 😦

dsears,

I am sorry you are suffering. May the Holy Spirit provide courage and perseverance as you strive to finish this class.

I will lift you in prayer as I concentrate on sorrowful mysteries of Rosary today.

Lenten blessings,
Kathleen

I am praying for you and your witness in this environment.
